The theater is located 349 Decatur St SE in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward neighborhood.

“The festival boasts the best improv acts in the city as well as top performers from across the country,” the festival’s website says. “This year the festival will welcome a minimum of 12 out-of-town teams and two headliners. Shows are scheduled for Thursday night through Saturday night in one of our two theatre spaces. During the day, the festival will offer improv workshops for everyone from beginners to advanced performers.”

According to the Village Theatre, 3Peat will be the festival’s opening act followed by the headliner, Quartet.

Quartet is an iO Chicago based long form improv group featuring Jack McBrayer, Sue Gillan, Jean Villepique and Tami Sagher. With the show’s success in Chicago, Quartet expanded the production to include performances at iO West in Los Angeles.

“Jack McBrayer started his improv career at The Second City and iO in Chicago. A Georgia native, McBrayer moved to New York and Los Angeles, where he continued to perform improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade and iO West. From 2006 to 2013, he portrayed the role of Kenneth the Page on ’30 Rock,’ created by The Second City alumnus Tina Fey. McBrayer has also appeared in numerous movies including ‘Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby’, ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’ and Wreck It Ralph.'”
