The Georgia Department of Transportation says there will be a lane closure on LaVista Road this weekend.

According to GDOT, one southbound lane will close between I-285 and Briarcliff Road starting 8 p.m.m Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday.

Here is the full list of GDOT projects planned for the weekend of Aug. 5.

Northwest Corridor Express Lanes

– On I-75, one southbound lane will close between SR 120 Loop/South Marietta Parkway and SR 280/Delk Road continuously from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Monday.

– On I-75, one lane will close on the I-75 southbound ramp to I-285 westbound from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Saturday.

– On I-75, a traffic pace will take place on the I-75 southbound ramp to I-285 westbound from 11 p.m., Friday until 3 a.m., Saturday. The traffic pace will require motorists to drive 5 mph -10 mph to allow contractors to work across the interstate lanes.

– On I-75, the southbound on-ramp from Barrett Parkway will close from 9 p.m., Fridayuntil 5 a.m., Saturday.

– On I-75, one northbound lane will close between Barrett Parkway and Chastain Road from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Sunday.

– On I-285, one eastbound lane will close between Paces Ferry Road and the I-75 interchange nightly from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Saturday and from 9 p.m., Saturdayuntil 5 a.m., Sunday.

– On I-285, a traffic pace will take place on the eastbound collector-distributer lanes will close between Cobb Parkway and Windy Ridge Road nightly from 11 p.m., Fridayuntil 3 a.m., Saturday and from 11 p.m., Saturday until 3 a.m., Sunday.  The traffic pace will require motorists to drive 5 mph -10 mph to allow contractors to work across the interstate lanes.

– On I-575, one lane will close on the I-575 southbound on-ramp from Bells Ferry Road from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday.

– On Roswell Road, one lane will close between East Freys Gin Court and the I-75 overpass daily from 9:30 a.m., until 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.

– On Hawkins Store Road, a flagging operation will take place under I-575 from 9:30 a.m., until 4 p.m., Saturday.

South Metro Express Lanes

– On I-75, one northbound lane will close between Jodeco Road and Hudson Bridge Road from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Saturday.

– On I-75, one southbound lane will close between Mt. Zion Boulevard and SR 138/Lake Spivey Parkway from 9 p.m., Friday until 7 a.m., Saturday.

– On I-75, one northbound lane will close between the I-675 interchange and SR 138/Lake Spivey Parkway continuously from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Monday.

– On I-75, one northbound lane will close between SR 20/SR 81/Hampton Road and Jonesboro Road from 7 a.m., until 5 p.m., Saturday.

– On I-75, one northbound lane will close between Hudson Bridge Road and the I-675 interchange from 9 p.m., Friday until 7 a.m., Saturday.

– On SR 20/SR 81/ Hampton Road, one westbound lane will close at Willow Lane nightly from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Saturday and from 9 p.m., Saturday until 5 a.m., Sunday.

– On SR 155/N. McDonough Road, one lane will close at Industrial Boulevard from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Saturday.

I-285

– One eastbound lane will close at Riverside Drive from 9 p.m., Friday until 12 p.m.,Saturday.

– Two eastbound lanes will close between Clark Howell Highway and the I-75 interchange from 9 p.m., Friday until 12 p.m., Saturday.

– Two westbound lanes will close between SR 42/Moreland Avenue and SR 54/Jonesboro Road from 6 p.m., Saturday until 12 p.m., Sunday.

I-20

– Two westbound lanes and shoulder will close I-75/I-85 (Downtown Connector) and Six Flags Parkway from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Monday.

– Two eastbound lanes and shoulder will close between Six Flags Parkway and the I-285 interchange from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Monday.

I-75/I-85 (Downtown Connector)

– One lane will close on the I-75/I-85 northbound exit ramp to Pine Street/ Peachtree Street/Civic Center (exit #249 B)  from 9 p.m., Friday until 8 a.m., Saturday.

– One lane will close on the I-75/I-85 northbound exit ramp to Spring Street/West Peachtree Street (exit #249 D) from 9 p.m., Sunday until 5 a.m., Monday.

I-75

– One southbound lane and shoulder will close between the I-285 interchange and SR 85 from 9 p.m., Friday until 9 a.m., Saturday and from 9 p.m., Sunday until 5 a.m., Monday.

I-85

– One southbound lane will close between Hamilton Mill Road and SR 20/Buford Drive from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Monday.

– Two northbound lanes will close between SR 139/Riverdale Road and Virginia Avenue nightly from 9 p.m., until 5 a.m., starting Friday night until Monday morning.

Georgia (State Route) 400

– One northbound lane will close between SR 141/Peachtree Parkway and MacFarland Parkway continuously from 9 p.m., Friday until 12 p.m., Monday.

Other State Routes

– On SR 9/ Main Street, one lane will close between Academy Street and the Forsyth County line from 9 p.m., until 6 a.m. Friday night and Saturday night and from 9 p.m., Sunday until 5 a.m., Monday.

– On SR 236/ Lavista Road, one southbound lane will close between I-285 and Briarcliff Road from 8 p.m., Sunday until 5 a.m., Monday.

– On SR 141/Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, one northbound and one southbound lane will close between North Shallowford Road and Club Drive from 8 p.m., Friday until 8 a.m., Saturday and from 8 p.m., Saturday until 8 a.m., Sunday.

– On SR 120/ Roswell Road, one lane will close between Bridgegate Drive and the Fulton County line nightly from 8 p.m., until 5 a.m., starting Friday night until Monday morning.

– On US 41/SR 3/ Cobb Parkway, one lane will close between Akers Mill Road and Paces Ferry Road from 8 a.m., until 9:30 a.m., Saturday.

– On Riverside Drive, the bridge will close over I-285 from Cold Stream Court to Fair Oaks Manor continuously from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Monday.

– On Lenox Road, one lane will close between Georgia (State Route) 400 and Alliance Center Drive from 7 a.m., until 4 p.m., Saturday.
