The city of Avondale Estates annual AutumnFest event returns on Oct. 1.

The event, which is held on Franklin Street between Oak and Lake Streets, begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. There will be an artist market, live music, a free kids zone, and food offerings from local businesses.

“This wonderful community festival couldn’t happen without the support of friends and neighbors,” the event announcement says. “Help make this year’s event amazing through volunteering and donations. Donations are being accepted through the Friends of the Festival Fund. $50 donors will receive two drink tickets to be used the day of the event at any beverage vendor at the event. Checks can be made payable to City of Avondale Estates-AutumnFest and can be mailed to 21 North Avondale Plaza, Avondale Estates.”
