The head brewer at Twain’s Brewpub & Billiards in Decatur has struck out on his own.

Atlanta Magazine reports that Chase Medlin is opening Locomotion Brewing Company in Chamblee. The article says that the business will eventually offer tastings and an art gallery. To read the full story, click here.

Decaturish reached out to the owners of Twain’s and will update this story when they respond. Currently they have their hands full with their newest venture, Comet Pub & Lanes.

This isn’t the first time a Twain’s brewer has left to join another company. Another head brewer, David Stein, left to form Creature Comforts in Athens.
