Niche.com, a review and ranking site that compiles “Best Of” lists for schools, thinks highly of City Schools of Decatur.

CSD schools are represented in every category for 2017. Niche.com named Renfroe Middle as the No. 1 middle school in the state. The rankings for the state’s best elementary schools include the 4/5 Academy at Fifth Avenue at No. 1, Glennwood Elementary School at No. 2, Oakhurst Elementary School at No. 4, Winnona Park Elementary School at No. 5 and Clairemont Elementary School at No. 6.

Decatur High ranks No. 17 among the states best high schools.
