The Avondale Estates Police Departments says there were two vehicle break-ins in the 100 block of Wiltshire Drive during the overnight hours of Nov. 7.

“Only one of the vehicles had an item taken from it. Both vehicles were unlocked at the time of the incidents and no suspects are known at this time,” an alert from the Police Department says. “[The Avondale Estates Police Department] advises everyone to please keep doors to homes and vehicles locked and secure and to keep valuables out of sight. Purses, wallets, firearms, and other valuables should be removed from vehicles when parked for the night.
