A local business is sponsoring a holiday book drive this year.

Decatur CoWorks is conducting the book drive in support of Emmaus House, which has reading programs for children in Peoplestown, which borders Turner Field and Grant Park.

According to a press release, Emmaus House has been providing reading programs and homework support for parents since 1967.

“The community is invited to contribute any unwrapped new or gently used books to Decatur CoWorks by Wednesday, Dec. 21,” the press release says.  “Books can be dropped off at Decatur CoWorks Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The company is located at 708 Church Street in Decatur. Free parking is available by the building.”
