Installation of a new fire hydrant near the Arlo apartment development will require a temporary lane closure over the next few days.

The city of Decatur says one eastbound lane heading out of town on East Trinity Place between Church Street and East Howard Avenue will be closed to allow for the work. The closures will take place starting Jan. 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, and should conclude on Jan. 17.

“Two way traffic will be maintained at all times along East Trinity Place,” the announcement from the city says.
