Elena Parent

The 2017 legislative session started on Jan. 9, and state Sen. Elena Parent is holding a town hall meeting on Feb. 9 to keep voters updated about what’s happening at the capitol.

The town hall will cover topics such as gerrymandering districts, campus carry, and the Women’s March on Washington  D.C., which she plans to go into further detail about in a few weeks.

The town hall meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m. on Feb. 9. The meeting will be held at Central DeKalb Senior Center, located in Decatur at 1346 McConnell Dr.
