The Avondale Estates City Commission has announced a special called meeting for March 1.

The meeting begins at 5 p.m. with a closed-door executive session to discuss a “personnel” matter. Afterward, the commission will hold a discussion on downtown development with Sam Collier, a member of the city’s Downtown Development Authority.

Meetings are held at City Hall, located at 21 North Avondale Plaza. All meetings, save for the executive session, are open to the public.
