As part of the Decatur Parents Network (DPN) Speaker Series, Renfroe Middle School (RMS) is hosting a March 8 event called “40 Things To Help Your Kid Succeed.”

Jessica Andrews-Wilson, the executive director of Gwinnett United In Drug Education (GUIDE) Inc. is leading the event. She plans to go over the “assets to nurture teen development toward good health, caring, and responsibility” as well as provide tips on how to teach your teen resilience.

The event will take place in RMS’ Media Center, located at 220 West College Avenue, on March 8, from 7 to 8 p.m. DPN encourages parents to join the conversation because “despite what teens say, your input and active participation are vital during their adolescent years.”

Check out the Speaker Series webpage for more information: https://www.decaturparents.net/speaker-series.html.
