This Sunday, Apr. 2, Smoke & Glory Chef Thunderdome is back for a fourth annual showdown at Steinbeck’s Ale House, located at 659 E. Lake Dr. in Decatur.

Starting at 12 p.m., Steinbeck’s Ale House, Pine Street Market, and Dos Diablos Design will compete in a BBQ smoke-off. With 19 chefs, 2017 is “battle Spare Ribs.”

According to the Facebook event, the competition rules go as follows: “We provide every restaurant with raw pork spare ribs, which they prepare it in any way they like. The only rule is that the pork must be smoked in some way. The winner is chosen by a combined tally from the People’s Choice and from our local BBQ professional judges.”

Ticket prices can be found at http://smokeandglorycookoff.com/general-info.html, which covers “a full afternoon of food from some of Atlanta’s hottest chefs, and unlimited beer tastings from our craft brewery participants.” All of the proceeds will be donated to Camp Horizon and The Giving Kitchen.
