The city’s annual Tour DeCatur is approaching fast. This Saturday, March 11, the 1-mile Fun Run will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5k Road Race at 9 a.m. and the Tot Trot at 10 a.m.

Following all of the races, an award ceremony will take place in front of the Decatur High School (DHS) cafeteria at 10:15 a.m.

After signing up, this year registered participants can pick up their race number and event t-shirt prior to Saturday morning to avoid pre-race lines. This way, those who pick up their event items early can head directly to the DHS stadium for the races to begin.

Pick up dates and locations go as follows:

THURSDAY, March 9 from 4-7pm at Fleet Feet Decatur, 431 W. Ponce de Leon Avenue. You can park in the First Christian Church parking lot across from the Post Office or on the street in front of the toddler park just down from Fleet Feet.

FRIDAY, March 10 from 4-6:30pm at the Tour DeCatur EXPO at Ebster Recreation Center, 404 W. Trinity Place, Decatur, GA 30030. Students from City Schools of Decatur won’t want to miss the chance to see their favorite teachers take a pie in the face at the EXPO.

Participants who cannot make these dates work should arrive at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday in the new DHS cafeteria to register and/or pick up race numbers.
