Avondale Estates Easter Egg Hunt and Dog Parade is Saturday, April 15

The city of Avondale Estates is holding its annual Easter Egg Hunt and Dog Parade this Saturday, April 15, from 10 a.m. until noon.

It will be held at Willis Park, located at 51 Dartmouth Ave. The egg hunt is open to all children ages 10 or younger. The dog parade begins at 10:30 a.m.  To register for the dog parade, click here. Costumes are not required, but if your dog wears one, there’s a prize for that.

“Award categories include Best Costume, Best Owner/Dog Duo, Most Spirited/Enthusiastic, and Best Behaved,” the event announcement says. “Awards include gift baskets, a training gift certificate, spa day gift card, a one-year supply of dog treats, self-serve dog wash package, flea medication, and more! Check in/on-site registration is from 9:30-10:15 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday, April 15. The first 50 registered participants to check-in will receive a gift bag full of various treats and other giveaways from local vendors. The event will be rescheduled in case of rain.”
