DeKalb County wants to clean up Moreland Avenue.

On April 12, county code enforcement officers, “will conduct a comprehensive sweep” of the street.

They’ll be handing out citations for things like …

– Vacant unsecured structures

– Exterior property in need of repairs

– High weeds and grass

– Open storage of furniture, appliances and tires

– Trash cans without lids

– Untagged/unlicensed or junk vehicles

– Junkyard conditions

“The sweep will be conducted as part of efforts to clean up DeKalb County and eliminate blight by ensuring property standards are maintained,” the press release from the county says.
