More overnight lane closures of North McDonough Road planned

Crews working for the city of Decatur are continuing to encounter “unmarked infrastructure,” meaning the city will be closing North McDonough Street overnight this week.

This is the third round of closures related to a streetscape project.

“North McDonough Street will again be closed overnight to through traffic between Trinity Place and East Maple Street from Tuesday, May 9, through Friday morning, May 12,” the announcement from the city says. “Each temporary closure will begin at 11 p.m. and end at 6 a.m. the next day. Should complications require, work may continue again next week.”
