Reminder: Decatur Arts festival is this weekend

The annual Decatur Arts Festival returns this weekend, with events starting today, May 26 through Sunday May 28.

There’s no cost to attend.

It begins with the ArtWalk this evening at 5 p.m. The ArtWalk will be held at various locations around town, including Agnes Scott College and the Decatur Library. For a complete list of places participating in the ArtWalk, click here.

The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. There will be numerous bands on the Performing Arts Stage, with nearly a dozen acts slated to perform. To see that schedule, click here.

There will also be comedy at the courthouse, hosted by Lew Lefton. Performers include Amanda Marks, Thelma Wyttenbach and the Highwire Comedy team. For a complete list of performers, click here.

There will also be activities for the kids, including music, balloons and bouncy castles.
