The Avondale Estates Fourth of July parade rolled again on Tuesday, offering an eclectic mix of bands, superheroes and patriotic pirates.

Children lining the street caught candy and waved flags. Antique cars slowly cruised along Clarendon Avenue. The bagpipers led the way.
