North McDonough Street and its two intersections will be repaved starting Tuesday, July 25.

The work was supposed to begin today, but had to be rescheduled due to the weather.

The resurfacing, yet another part of the North McDonough Streetscape Improvements and Railroad Crossing Improvements projects that began in June, is expected to take two to three days. The city’s goal is to have as much work done as possible before school begins on August 1.

North McDonough and the two intersections will remain open to two-way vehicle traffic, but there will be temporary lane closures and minor delays during the work. East Howard Avenue will be closed to through traffic for a short period during its resurfacing, and vehicular access will be limited.
