Come out to Avondale Estates for the 25th Annual Christmas Tour of Homes as well as the Holiday Market and Cafe on Sunday, Dec. 10.

Avondale’s Tour of Homes will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. You can purchase tickets ahead of time at Avondale City Hall, Finders Keepers Furniture, REAL Salon or Garage Door Studio for $15 or day-of at the Avondale Community Club for $20.

According to a recent press release, “on the National Register of Historic Places, Avondale Estates is a mix of old and new homes built in every decade since Avondale Estates began as one of the country’s earliest planned communities in 1926.”

From 12 to 6 p.m., the Holiday Market will be displaying items for sale from more than 30 artists and vendors. Additionally, from 1 to 3 p.m., local author Mary Kay Andrews will be selling and signing books, and the Market Cafe will feature homemade soups, sandwiches and other treats throughout the day.
