Mind Bubble, an educational nonprofit for middle schoolers in and around metro Atlanta, is hosting their last fall 2017 session next Saturday, Dec. 9, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
This program is called “WHAM! ZAP! POW! Writing for Comics” and will be aimed at writing comic books. Located at 88 North Avondale Road, comic book authors of Terminus Media, John McGuire and Robert Jeffrey will be leading a workshop on how comic book writing differs from other kinds of writing as well as give participants the opportunity to work on a comic book page of their own.
You can register your middle schooler for this free experience now at https://mindbubble.org/workshops/.
You can also sign up to be a Mind Bubble volunteer on their website at https://mindbubble.org/.
In addition to workshops, which are offered monthly, Mind Bubble also provides free tutoring to local middle schoolers every week of the semester. Workshops and tutoring sessions will continue in January 2018.
