Decatur Makeover website expanded to include projects throughout the city

The Decatur Makeover website was recently expanded to warn residents of “planned traffic disruptions city-wide.”
Residents can sign up for email alerts about projects that could affect their commutes.

The Decatur Makeover website launched in 2016 primarily as a way to communicate information about projects in the city’s downtown.
Today, the site is making residents aware that sidewalk repairs on the western side of North McDonough Street between West Trinity Place and the Courthouse Square are expected to be finished.
“Sidewalk access will remain open to the DeKalb County Courthouse as well as on the eastern side of North McDonough Street,” the Decatur Makeover Website says. “On street parking may be limited in the North McDonough loop during this period.”
