Decatur cancels March 17 Touch a Truck event, reschedules for May 5

Due to the threat of severe weather, the March 17 Touch a Truck event has been cancelled due to the threat of severe weather.

Thunderstorms are expected Saturday morning. The annual event is a big draw for the city. It allows kids to see and touch a wide range of vehicles, like fire trucks and police cars.

“Due to the threat of thunderstorms we have rescheduled Touch a Truck for May 5,” the city announced. “Mark your calendars and join us in May at the East Lake MARTA Station from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.”
