There was a break-in at a residence on Majestic Circle in Avondale Estates, the city’s mayor said.

The mayor confirmed that the incident occurred on Friday.

“AEPD Officers were dispatched to the location on Friday evening and determined that perpetrator(s) had forcefully entered the residence and removed a large television and laptop computer,” Mayor Jonathan Elmore said. “Time frame of the event was between 6:45 pm and 8 p.m. No known suspects. AEPD Investigations processed the scene for any evidence.”
