Decatur Terrace files annexation petitions

Residents of the Decatur Terrace neighborhood have presented two annexation petitions to Decatur and Avondale Estates. The Decatur petition asks city commissioners to add the neighborhood, consisting of 147 properties, to Decatur’s annexation map. The Avondale petition asks that city’s commissioners to remove the neighborhood from Avondale’s map. Neighborhood reps circulated the two petitions simultaneously. […]
