Demolition crews took out the Executive Park Hotel this morning. According to the Brookhaven Post, “Atlanta Demolition expertly imploded the 19-story former hotel, once owned by BellSouth, that prominently hovered over I-85 in Executive Park.” The Post says “hundreds” of people tailgated at the Brookhaven Corporate Square to watch the implosion.
