Maker Faire Atlanta invaded downtown Decatur over the weekend. The fair is the self-proclaimed Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth. A family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, this weekend Decatur has become a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning. Makers range from tech enthusiasts, crafters, homesteaders, scientists and garage tinkerers.

Want to see a solar powered race car or a remote controlled underwater submarine? Want to build a smaller race car of your own or check out Google Cardboard? You can do just that and more in downtown near Decatur High School off of N. McDonough St. The Faire resumes on Sunday, October 4 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
