Twisted Soul is closing its Decatur location on East Howard Avenue and the soul food restaurant’s owner is looking for a new space.

“The Twisted Family want to wish all our supporters a wonderful holiday. We have made the hard decision to relocate….. More details to come,” a message on the restaurant’s Facebook page says. “It’s been one heck of a year and we plan on keeping this ride going. Come see us before we close on Dec. 30, 2015. We love you all Happy Holidays!”

Chef Deborah VanTrece opened the restaurant in December of last year, replacing MARBAR. According to Atlanta Eater, VanTrece couldn’t come to an agreement with the landlord about a new lease. Eater says she’ll be looking for another location in Decatur, but may consider locations in other parts of Atlanta. To read that story, click here.
