Vivid Boutique in Decatur is moving, but not far. The jewelry, stationary, and gift shop is closing its location next to Starbucks at 133 E. Court Square and is moving to to 308 West Ponce de Leon Ave. near Cafe Lily. The owners tell Decaturish that no date has been finalized for the reopening, but they are excited about the new location.

LuciBell, a monogramming and gift shop down the street, appears to have closed up shop at 345 W. Ponce de Leon Ave. near Taqueria del Sol. Decaturish has heard it is relocating and has reached out to the business. We’ll update this story if we receive more information.

Solstice Urban Retreat in Decatur is opening a second location in Virginia-Highland. The yoga and barre studio just opened last April. In a Facebook post it announced the new location is a wellness center that includes yoga studios, massage therapy, psychotherapy, and meditation.

Jamba Juice has a sign up at the new location at 2052 N. Decatur Rd. The space was previously a Red Mango frozen yogurt shop. It’s not clear when the smoothie and juice store is opening. A phone message gives the opening date as Dec. 21 and says the shop is hiring. However, the franchise is not yet listed on Jamba Juice’s main website and a Google search of the location says “blending soon.” The Atlanta Business Chronicle reported in December that former NFL-star Julian Peterson and his wife Aimee are operating the franchise.

Global Growers Network, a nonprofit which helps refugees of war make a living by farming and selling produce locally, is hiring. It announced it has three new positions: a market manager, a development and communications coordinator, and a produce distribution assistant. Details are on the Global Growers Network’s website.
