About 50 people showed up at the Decatur branch of the DeKalb County public library on Sept. 25 for Decaturish.com’s Candidate Q&A.

Only one seat is contested in the Nov. 7 elections, the Decatur City Commission District 1 Post A seat being vacated by Fred Boykin. The Q&A with these candidates was the focus of the event, but candidates running in uncontested races made brief remarks prior to the start of the Q&A.

Due to time limitations, Decaturish wasn’t able to ask every question on the list, but those questions have been given to the candidates and their answers will be posted at a later date.

Early voting for the Nov. 7 elections begins on Oct. 16.
