DaVinci’s Pizzeria has decided to leave the city of Decatur.

The Decatur location opened in 2015, moving into a space previously occupied by a Mellow Mushroom next to Green Ginger. That restaurant returned to Decatur in 2016 with a new owner and new location on West Ponce de Leon.

Decaturish left a message with DaVinci’s seeking comment.

On Jan. 1, the company announced the closing via its Facebook page.

“Thank you to everyone who was a patron at our Decatur location,” the message said. “For our delicious, quality pizza, sandwiches, and more please visit our other locations in Midtown, Smyrna and Kennesaw!”
