Filming for the upcoming Mark Wahlberg film “Instant Family” will require shutting down Willis Park in Avondale Estates for two days.
“A production crew will be filming a new movie at Willis Park in Avondale Estates on Tuesday, March 13 and Wednesday, March 14,” a notice from the city says. “The park will be closed for use and pedestrian traffic for both days. Filming will also take place at 8 Fairfield Drive on Monday, March 12.”
Paramount Worldwide Productions will be giving out free “King of Pops” at the park on March 14, from noon until 8 p.m., to say “thank you” to residents.
